My name is Janeen Brown and I am a woman in long-term recovery, and what that means to me is it has been over 5 years since I’ve found it necessary to use any mood or mind-altering substances. Currently, I am the Administrative Assistant for iHOPE INC. I talk about my recovery because it's taught me that it's never too late to have a fulfilling life and that we all have the ability to change. I have completed and accomplished many things in my life, including raising a beautiful family, graduating from Central Georgia Technical College with an Accounting and Business Office Technology Diploma and, completing the Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES) training.
