Our Peer Recovery Support Services

Peerfessional™ Peer to Peer Transportation

Access to transportation is crucial to thriving in our economy, especially for people living in rural areas of Middle Georgia. iHOPE’s Peer2Peer Transportation service helps connect people in recovery to a certified recovery coach who can take them to and from a variety of places, including:

  • Faith-based support groups
  • Group meetings
  • Job interviews
  • Medication assistant treatment
  • Recovery events
  • School
  • Work

Through these transportation services, people also access reliable and personalized recovery coaching services from dedicated peers.

Peer Recovery Phone Support Service

This service provides an immediate connection for someone new to recovery. It’s also often used by people transitioning back into our Middle Georgia community after completing:

  • Addiction treatment
  • Hospital treatment
  • Opioids support group
  • Prison or jail time

The Peer Recovery Phone Support is designed to help people overcome the cultural and practical barriers that can lead to crisis or relapse. We can quickly connect people in recovery to critical resources to build momentum and independence. We educate and assist peers in finding recovery resources in our community or at independently hosted groups in the iHOPE Addiction Recovery Support Center. Some pathways to sustained recovery that we host at our center include:

  • 12-step support groups
  • All-Recovery meetings
  • Celebrate Recovery meetings
  • Double Trouble in Recovery

Certified Recovery Coaching Services

iHOPE connects people in recovery to certified recovery coaches that are trained to walk with them through the recovery journey, wherever that path may lead. Our certified recovery coaches may meet in group settings or one-on-one, either at casual social outings or structured meetings at our center. During these meetings, our coaches will:

  • Encourage self-awareness and self-care
  • Focus on skill-building activities
  • Promote individual strengths and interests
